# Hiring – PHP-Entwickler gesucht

> Job ads, channels, recruiters: reaching PHP people who are not actively looking.

- [Hire a PHP Developer: Where the Good Ones Are in 2026](https://php-entwickler-gesucht.de/en/hiring/hire-php-developer/): To hire a PHP developer, start with a precise brief (framework, PHP version, state of the codebase, salary band), then combine a job post with referrals, niche job boards and direct outreach to people from local PHP meetups. Most experienced PHP developers are employed and not looking, so expect eight to twelve weeks from first post to signed offer.
- [PHP Developer Job Description: Template and Examples](https://php-entwickler-gesucht.de/en/hiring/php-developer-job-description/): A good PHP developer job description states the salary band, names the framework, PHP version and state of the codebase, and separates three to five real requirements from nice-to-haves. It describes actual tasks, including how much time goes into maintenance, avoids age-coded phrases like young team, and explains the hiring steps with their duration.
- [Hire a Laravel Developer: Find and Vet Real Experience](https://php-entwickler-gesucht.de/en/hiring/hire-laravel-developer/): To hire a Laravel developer, post on LaraJobs, show up at Laravel meetups and Laracon events, ask your team for referrals and contact authors of well-kept Laravel packages directly. Vet candidates with real code: queued jobs, Eloquent queries, tests and their last major upgrade. Put your Laravel version in the first line of the ad.
- [Freelance PHP Developer: How to Hire, Vet and Contract](https://php-entwickler-gesucht.de/en/hiring/freelance-php-developer/): Find a freelance PHP developer through referrals, platforms such as Upwork, Malt or freelancermap, and contractor job boards. Check live projects or public code, start with a short paid trial, and put a written IP assignment in the contract. Treat them as a business, not an employee, or you risk IR35 problems in the UK and misclassification claims elsewhere.
